I have always been fond of highly detailed delicate things and stylized traditional patterns profoundly. They are forever my fascinating inspirations. 

 

In particular, the image of the Lotus flower - Vietnam's national flower - has been immersed into my soul distinctively. Probably it emerged through years and years of me growing up and living with it.

 

Through many generations, Lotus has always stood for purity and elegance - but fierce at the same time. It has become a symbol of a soul with a powerful vitality and represented the Vietnamese “living among life, but never being infected by life“ life value. That’s why Lotus is always portrayed to be the nobility symbol in temples, royal architecture, and poetry. That belief lay deep-rooted in our souls. 

 

In this design of “Royal” signature bracelet in 2017, I choose the Lotus bud as the main subject. The design is inspired by patterns in the traditional stylized art of ancient royalty. The elongated, “feminine” shape of the Lotus bud and stylized decorative lines, intertwined with the silversmith’s meticulousness is how I deliver my belief of rising strong and prosperity to you.

 

I hope “Royal” is not only a simple bracelet but also a belief in the inner power that brings an abundant life within each of us.
